The key feature of MT-RJ based solutions is its intuitive style of connectivity, similar to that seen in copper based solutions based on RJ45 termination. The space saving that MT-RJ provides is less than half that of previous Duplex SC or ST terminations. Several leading producers of communication equipment are already endorsing the use of MT-RJ technology as the interface for next generation enterprise networks.
Computer Crafts MT-RJ to MT-RJ patch leads have been designed for use with all equipment designed around this new interface. A connectivity system for FTTD (Fiber to the Desk), based on MT-RJ will shortly be available to support this technology. Please contact your local sales point for more detail.
As many legacy systems will already have SC Duplex style fiber termination in either the equipment or the cable plant these hybrid jumpers provide a simple transition from new MT-RJ based equipment to such legacy.
